Javier Niño Works in the Gallery Collection

most significant artists that spans more than 70 years.

One of the main purposes of the gallery has been the creation and promotion of a unique art collection that documents the development and richness of the visual arts in Puerto Vallarta and its distinctive "Naif' style.

Ramón Barragán Works in the Gallery Collection

Through the work of this style's main representatives, Javier Niño, Ramón Barragán, Ada Colorina, and Manuel Lepe the gallery's collection traces the Naif style's history and evolution. Another focus of the gallery is to promote new artists such as  Edgar Maritnez and José Baldi while providing studio space where a growing number of artists can create and collaborate.

Recently the gallery has acquired an large collection of photos by Hugo Brehme and Agustín Víctor Casasola, representing a great value in historic and artistic terms. These artists are the two main photographers that documented the Mexican Revolution, beginning in 1910.

The gallery's space allows for a variety of exhibitions and events, setting it apart from other galleries in Vallarta. Utilizing great lighting and a flowing floor plan, the gallery is superb for the exhibition of paintings, sculpture, and multimedia. The Sculpture Garden, in the enclosed patio, is used for musical events, performance art presentations, and numerous parties and get togethers. An accomplished artist in his own right, Paco's work represents his diversified vision of life's harmony, discipline and balance. The vibrant and colorful abstract paintings, mixed media collages on canvas and wood, archival photographs (many synthesized with a range of pastel hues) will draw your attention. The pictorial representations offer an unusual perspective inspired by the artist's complex and expressive sense of humor.
